Have you talked to Robertson? They will be able to tell you exactly what you need to do. I had them go through my AP40 which is a commercial unit no longer in production and they put a new face on it and new boards as required. The unit looks like new and is essentially new. They are super to deal with and I found the tech to be very good and very helpful. I would invest in a call to them before I started just buying parts of questionable background. Grant

If you look at your manual, you have the J101 board you need the upgraded board which has the nema inputs, Let me look and find the right board, It is quite expensive. like $500 plus to make this happen.
Go to this web page they have the boards. but the new NEMA 0189 may not work with the older pilots
If your going to get a new pilot get a AP35, with a rate compass.
Hello,
If you do end up replacing your j101a junction box or any other parts of your existing autopilot, please let me know if you are interested in selling the old ones. I have a disabled Robertson in need of some transplants. Thanks, Nate Kirmmse nkirmmse@hotmail.com
