That boats' been for sale for 3 years now... it needs a $25K offer! Get yer skilsaw going and a hundred sawzall blades and you can build whatever you want without fear of retribution from the judges. Everyone here hates that louver job aft including me. I wouldve jumped on that one! That column would make a great punishment post for lashings too LOL !!! ws

I suspect at this point, you could easily have it for $25,000. It WAS originally $299,000 and slowly dropped to $99,000 when I last looked. Now it's down to $59,000. If you could get it for, lets say $30,000, you could have a pretty darn nice boat for a total of $200,000 or so.

Anybody here checked it out in depth? Its got my curiosity going now. Pascal?

Thats known as "having the upper hand" LOL. If you dont keep up, yer in the dark. About once a week I hafta "cull the herd"... I can only keep about 30 pics up and then need to delete some. I'll try to get some pics out today for you. Clear yer cookies daddio... I'll shoot ya about 300 pics, ok??? ws
Thanks for the pics Willy, but you really should start using Photobucket so you don't have to cull anything. This work you're doing needs to stay documented with photos for future generations of Hatt owners.

So things are improving gradually... Lotsa elbow grease!
From this... ws

When the sub rolled over, the fridge slid out and opened up a
chunk-o-cabinet. The plywood layers were all raised, so to make a repair with no way to clamp it down, I had to open it up and remove some ply's and then glue the face back on and do a makeshift clamp job with tape... I'll see how it turns out today.Actually, its in a spot that you really dont see. ws

This is ppat Bills X-O, all he does is work.!!! I have to force him to take time off. There are other things in life besides the "sub". Not many but other things just the same.

Next time you want to bash Bill for slacking talk to me first. I MAKE HIM slack.

" Acid forks up your genes..." T.Leary 1967...
Had remarkable success cleaning some wood today with muriatic acid. The fumes were to die for! Pay atteention to the before and after pics boys... Had to brush this stuff on, then rinse with water twice and let dry in the sun. Sanded all the stuff with 120 and layed a coat of varnish on them. Man what an improvement !!! ws

Started out this morning with a sand job and varnish on all the upper cabinet doors. Eatcherhearts out! They'll probably go back on tomorrow... ws

The bottom stuff proved to be a more dramatic improvement... NOTHING touched the black stuff except the muriatic... and that was after an E-Z Off and wire brush job... the acid made the wood jump back to life! The first pic shows the acid on top and oven cleaner on the bottom... before sanding! The stack shows one clean drawer... which one is it? DUH !!! ws

These are the drawers with one coat of varnish. I'll sand them down and get 2-3 more on tomorrow. ws

I just bought a new Princess stove for $450 and need to frame out the counter where the old unit was bolted in. Nothing like a little finesse work to brighten up the job... and spirits!!
Check out the acid renderings... what a mess. The rags went right out the portlite to the ground! ws
