Hi

Where is it located and what boat do you have it on now. I am located in south Florida and would like to take a look. I have a 43DCMY.

thx

Same boat as yours Pat. The seller is my next door neighbor. We're in Md.

Thanks

Your boat looks great!

Price reduction to $399. It's a steal! Harry Bowie

Did your dinghy conflict with the ladder? I have that issue. What is the dimension from the middle to your transom?

The davit was installed when we purchased the boat. The previous owner had a 10 1/2' dinghy, and had just had the davit installed prior to selling us the boat, so it has never really been used. I can get the measurement for you in a couple of days when i am back at the boat.

Would you be willing to ship it?

My RIB is a bit smaller so it might work. Do you have a photo with the previous owner's dinghy on it?

I like that davit and almost bought one just like yours. The reason I didnt was because I couldnt see myself yanking or sliding my extremely heavy 10' Carib on the hurley ramp. My dinghy has a double hull which is different from the you tube videos with a girl yanking theirs up on the ramp. I assume the one in the video wasnt double hulled. Also with the 8 hp Nissan with gas tanks it gets really heavy. I know what if feels like just pulling it up on the beach. It might work with a lighter dinghy. I sure would like one though. The flip up kind I have is lots of work. The price is a steal and I cant believe you still have it.

Thanks everyone for your interest. At this point I do have a deal on the Davit System.

I have a Hurley Gear used 2 seasons on my 43 DC to carry an 8 foot Puffin Dinghy. Go to Owners under Mel Tucker for pictures . Easy on and easy off by keeping gear locked and pulling boat up from side of boat onto davits. Switched to Weaver Davits because dinghy filled with rainwater if I didn't keep a cover on it which was a PITA. Put a drain plug in the dinghy to solve that problem. Then the dinghy was knocked off the davits by a large vessels wake passing me in the intracoastal. Anybody wants it for $200.00 plus shipping from Raleigh, NC. Mel Tucker

The Hurley gear has been sold.
