Does anyone have a current address for Derek Cardinal at Cardinal Yacht Sales? I recently sent him an invoice and it was returned from the Post Office with a sticker that read moved, no forwarding address.

He lives in Ft. Lauderdale. Look up Derek Cardinal Florida Mug Shots.
It's at mugshotsusa dot com slash broward-fl slash 5729. You'll recognize his mug shot. This stuff is not new to him. Hire a lawyer, take him to court, lien his property. Plus, I believe if it's over a small amount, like $5k, it's a felony. At some point, a judge might wake up and impose a consequence.

He was booked in April and then again in September 2010. You can find all the details you want on Broward County's Court website. Has some felony counts against him as well. You can mail in a request for all details, including his address.

Go to Broward County Clerk of Courts and do a public records search under his name. You'll find a few current dockets and lots of older ones! He's on probation for two felonies.

Good luck to ya. He lived in NJ, but is not associated with Cardinal Yachts, or so I believe. He worked out of his home. Not very well either. Since, relocated to FL.

Looked at a boat a few years ago they had listed. After contacting the broker, I was left with something feeling distinctly "fishy" about the operation... now I know why!

For and to whom it may concern:
Derek Cardinal is a thief and a liar. He is a wanted man in NJ. That is probably why he is in FL.
Several years ago he stole $27,000 from me. The money was a deposit on a boat he never
delivered. by the time I found out it was a hoax, he was out of business as Cardinal Yacht Sales.
I did, however, file charges against him in NJ, as the money was a wire to his bank account, and I had paperwork sufficient to support my charges of fraud and grand theft-or whatever ya call it.
He was bound over for trial and skipped bail.

I located him in FL years later and actually spoke with the bail bondsman there that bailed him
out on charges in FL. I also spoke at length with an officer of the court there. This guy is rotten.
That's all there is to it. Was told he was selling cars! He should be in a federal pen. I'd offer to
pay someone to take him to NJ to stand trial, but the court advised that such is considered
kidnapping. Anyone willing to find a legal way, and I'll split whatever the court awards. I'd like to see him in chains in a dungeon with bread and water and no access to his kids or any human
comforts. He's a rat. A habitual criminal.

A crook like that makes it harder for the honest brokers to do business. So the judge let him go on probation to swindle someone else?
