Boat Transporters on Texas Gulf Coast

Does anyone have recommendations for a good boat transporter on the Texas Gulf Coast. I'm looking to move a 43 DCMY from Lake Travis ( just outside of Austin ) to Clearlake in the Houston area.

There used to be a company in the Kemah-League City area . I will have to get the name for you. They're probably going to have to deadhead one way or the other.

Be careful, I had Doc's Holiday moved from Lake Texoma to Clear Lake with the promise that whoever removed the upper helm would put it back together again.....did not happen and it cost me $10,000 to have the cut wiring and cables replaced andeverything rebeded...the transporter would not come good for it....Don't currently have his name but he was out of Austin. I will post if I can find the name it was over 10 years ago. You should be present when they load and move the boat.

I definitely plan on being present when it moves. I moved the boat to Lake Travis about 10 years ago and went through the same scenario of having to pay to remove and then re-install the upper helm. This was after the transporter had assured me that the upper helm could remain in place. Thistime I definitely intend to keep upper helm attached and use escorts or whatever is necessary for oversized loads.
