Hello everyone,
I am wondering if anyone can shed some light on how the window in my salon come out and if the glass can be replaced in the frames and get new seals. I am wondering if the windows on the port an stbd sides of the salon have two piece frames because it looks like they have the main casing which is aluminum and then another inner frame that the glass is incased within which is also aluminum and then there is like some type of sealant in the crevice between them. So do they separate? Below are pictures of what I am talking about.
Also, I have purchased from Sams all the materials to take out my windshield sections and reseal them but I have read the FAQ about windows but am not sure if that applies to the way my glass is bedded. I'm not sure exactly how the shims work and how to put the seals in place if someone can give me some advice on how to do this I would appreciate it. I appreciate all the help from everyone on here.
