Anybody have any thoughts about using flex seal to waterproof a canvas top (Bimini)? Thanks in advanceJohn

I've used it on hidden deck areas. It sprays on pretty thick. I think you might regret it unless it's just a temp thing and your going to throw the top away. Stuff works though.

If water pools on it, it re-wets and turns gummy. Call SEMS. They have coatings for this that should work.

Sunbrella fabric this would be the only thing to use 303 Fabric Guard. It is recommended by Sunbrella. Then spend the money and use Seamark sunbrella fabric when you are going to have a new top made. Will last 10 plus years and no need to worry about sealing again.

Ask your top vendor about Stamoid, instead. It won't leak as a bimini.

I made it a habit to roll a coat of Thompson's Weather Seal on the bimini canvass of our 42 Commander every spring. It worked great and it was cheap and easy!

The best product I've ever used for this is Thompson's Deck Seal, believe it or not. Take the canvas off and lay it on the driveway and paint the Thompson's on with a brush. It stays flexible and will never leak again for the life of the canvas. It's also way cheaper plus being better.

Smear Henry's roof patch all over it :D

The best I've found by far is Aqua-Tite !
