Replacement for Princess 3 burner Stove and Oven

When I bought my Hatteras 46C the prior owner removed the stove/oven to put a large sink. My 46C is a down galley with no room for stove/oven now so I am going to put one in the salon bar and remove the sink and ice maker. To my dismay the only marine electric stove/oven is $1,500 which is too expensive IMO.

Question is has anyone installed a small stove/oven combo about the same size as the Princess using an RV electric or other products that are non marine?

I recently redid my galley and installed a ramblewood (unknown brand to me till now) two burner glass top. It's non marine but fantastic... as an oven i put in a GE convection microwave hood combo above the cook top. Works great

We had a Columbia 45 sailboat that we put a GE 4 burner glass top that worked very well. That only had a 30 amp capacity and we never had a problem.

I put in a single burner induction stove top and bought several counter top appliances; George Forman grill, elec fry pan, toaster, crock pot and a another counter top induction burner. And I'm going to buy a counter top oven. All these will be stored in a locker and pulled out as needed

I'm doing over my galley as we speak. I removed my Princess 3 burner stove/oven. It works fine, so I'm probably an idiot, but I'm doing over all the counters in corian, and wanted to do the whole job at once and spruce it up a bit. I chose the 2 burner Ramblewood. I only have 120v 30amp service to work with. Anything bigger than 2 burners would exceed 30 amps. And, I couldn't fit 3 pots on the Princess at the same time anyway. I also went with the Verona 120v wall oven.

You won't save much $$. The Verona is $1100, and the Ramblewood cost me $260.

I'll probably be selling the Princess once the project is done and tested. It's a 120v model. I replaced all 3 top burners last summer, and I have all the original fiddles for it.

Forget the Foreman grill, get the Cuisinart Gridler, the intermediate one with seat feature but without the digital display. Unlike the foreman the plates are removable for cleaning and are reversible (ridges or flat )

We do paninis, bacon, pancakes, smash burgers, sear delicate flaky fish, salmon burger etc it's the one appliance we can't be without

Agree on the Cuisinart Griddler. i bought one for the boat and it never made it there as we use it at home constantly. We also have the waffle plates for it. Very useful gadget!
