In process of installing new windlass and maxwell recommends "generous application of a high quality anti corrosive paste to the mating sections..." I've narrowed my options to two, TEFGEL and loctite marine non metal antisieze. Any recommendation on which of these, or other products, anyone has used with long term success? Thanks

Bel-Ray has a product called waterproof grease. It used to be called salt waterproof grease many years ago but someone must have never changed it on their trailer bearings and called them out on it. Anyway it is still the same product and I use it on everything where corrosion could be an issue. Works great. May meet the spec for what you need. Sold at motorcycle shops. Found it during my MX days.

Thanks for the tip. I'll check it out. I really want something with high specific gravity that won't eventually spread itself around and make a mess, regular grease certainly can do that.
