A shout out to Vesper Marine and Morad Antenna. I installed a Vesper AIS transponder on the boat with a Morad 162 MHz antenna, and replaced my VHF antenna and coax at the same time. I needed some help with the AIS, and Vesper’s response was immediate and exactly what I needed - they emailed me a pinout diagram of the connector literally 10 minutes after I emailed them. I ordered the wrong configuration of antenna interface parts from Morad’s distributor. Forgot I had ordered from them and called Morad direct. They shipped the replacement parts that same afternoon, no shipping charge, and included a prepaid mailer to return the other parts. Can’t ask for much more than that. No affiliation with either company.
