Those chlorine tablets

Where is a good source for them? I know that there is a type that you don't want to use. I need them for my Galleymaid heads.

I did a search but could not find anything.

Any Calcium Hypochlorite tablets are fine. Make sure you ONLY use CALCIUM HYPOCHLORITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyplace with pool chemicals should have them.

Mike, do you think there would be any problem with Tri Chlor in your AC unit strainers and Engine Strainers because of the high volume of water processed thru those units during season. Why would it be any different than a pool considering we are in the deep south and run those units continuously. Ron

PS I understand the problem associated with using in your waste system.

I'm no chemical expert so I don't know for sure about that. But Trichlor certainly ate up the hoses in the waste treatment system. Possibly, with the water volume your ate talking about in the strainers it wouldn't be a problem. Also, I assume different types of hose would react differently. I can vouch for the fact that the white "waste hose" does not handle it well nor does the braided "water hose."

If I were putting tabs in the strainers I would use Calcium Hypo just based on my bad experience with Trichlor in the waste treatment system. But that's just based on what happened to me, not on any real chemical analysis of the effect of Trichlor in that specific application.
