  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
61' MOTOR YACHT (1980 - 1985)
I need to clean out the vanity/shower sump pump, float switches and containment boxes. As many Hatt owners know the access is not easy. Looking for advice for an easy solution. Thanks, PJ61

Fill it with vinegar and let it sit.

Noflex Digester

Second Noflex, I also use a high a high pressure hose to blow stuff out of the enclosed float switch.

I have dropped a bromide tab in previously, but i like the noflex digestor idea. I'll have to try that. Also like the vinegar idea. Good feedback here as usual!

Bromine tabs combine with the chlorine in treated freshwater and make scum.

Noflex or NutralizeRX is all you need.

Distilled white vinegar. Run a lot through now, and pout down the drains on a regular basis.
Not sure which model the OP has, but on the 56my access to the aft and midship sumps is excellent.
UltraSafety Pumpswitches help too.

X5 on Noflex. For sump and heads. Fantastic

Thank you all for your input. I'll get to work. PJ61
