Stuart, FL mechanic

Just took my boat and left it in Stuart for the winter and need some miscellaneous mechanical work done and would like some recommendations for a good, honest all around mechanic and a MAN specific mechanic. Thanks for your time.

Mark Hubby (772) 341-3251, He's very good with general yacht maintenance and diesel/gen upkeep. If he can't fix your Man's he'll know someone reliable who can.

Morgan French, of Morgan's Marine Service, Inc. (954) 610-4018, cell (772) 288-3785), lives in Stuart. He has taken great care of my Detroit Diesels for many years. He was in charge of the old engine take-out and installation of my new 6-92TAs and transmissions back in 1993. He is probably the reason I have had no problems with them since. Don't know if he does MANs, but it wouldn't surprise me.

He gives good advice too. Me: "DD says I can run these at full throttle 10% of the time. What do you think?"
Morgan: "Oh, I think one or two minutes at a time won't hurt them." (Another reason they have worked so well!)
