In looking at the props I noticed that ours spin out. Has anyone played with spinning the props in? Not sure if the MG514s would allow that, but I am really curious. Seems like on our boat a little less stern lift might make more speed and let the bow lift up a bit.

Here's the poop on in vs out spinning props.

Looking forward from stern of boat....

If the port prop is turning counter clockwise when coming ahead and the starboard engine turning clockwise, you have have outboard turning props. Hence the boat will maneuver better in close quarters.

Vice versa the boat will burn less fuel running but not be as handy in tight quarters.

What boat do you have?
