  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
58' LRC (1975 - 1981)
Has anyone found a router bit to duplicate the drawer edge moulding on 1970's (maybe 80's) vintage drawers?

This moulding would be similar to that in the attached photo. By the way, these drawers (shown) are for sale by another Sam's user in the "for sale" section.

if you find someone with a cnc router these are very easy to reproduce. No custom bit is necessary.

Where are you and how many feet do you need?

While, I'd love to own a CNC router - it's one tool I don't own (yet), LOL.

I need (2) 3' lengths and (4) 4' lengths. I'm located in Punta Gorda, FL and will see if there is a shop around here that can help out.

In the meantime, I've ordered a few router bits and will attempt to replicate with 3 passes.

oscarvan,

That looks pretty damn close. I'm going to try the same and have some mahogany on order. Should be here in a few days

I don't know who, but I know there are places that will make router bits to match existing moldings.

I researched that...... it was prohibitively expensive to me.
