Replacing Bridge Gauges with Caterpillar MPD

My 54' Hatteras Convertible is powered by CAT 3412's. The instrument gauges on the Port Engine have died and must be replaced. We are having new CATERPILLAR MPD's installed next week. Has anyone else experienced this problem, and how did you solve it?

I assume that you are talking about the EMS gauges. There is a set on ebay right now, but the MPDs would be a step up.

The top photo is the MPD. The bottom photo is the Analog MPD. Both of those should be serviceable today.

Thank you for your comments. I saw the set on eBay but agree, the MPD is a good upgrade.

Something to think about, you might look into the color MPDs. They have on screen gauge editing, and can display up to four video cameras.

The are pretty close in size. The mounting hole is the same.

I have color MPDs and they are certainly snazzy, but only worth the price if you need them for camera display
