  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
48' LRC (1976 - 1981)
Anyone have experience/opinions/thoughts on Quick Lift tender davits/cranes? The company is located in Miami. Thanks

Pete

Pete I'm from New Bern also. I have a plant in little Washington and HY-TIDE boat lifts just moved in next to us on page rd. They do lifts for as long as 100 footers. You might want to give them a call. Is that your LRC on the Trent between the Sheraton and the country club?

No, the boat up on the Trent belongs to another gentleman, who I have met, but I am having trouble recalling his name. I believe his name is Peter Jacobsen, but I could easily be wrong. His boat is a 42 LRC.

We have a 48 LRC and keep it behind our house in Fairfield Harbour, about five miles down the Neuse River from New Bern on the east side.

I need to better describe the Quick Lift that interest me. This is a davit/crane that would mount on our boat and be used to launch and retrieve our tender. I am considering replacing the OEM bent pole crane with one that has power winch/tilt/rotate.

OK, Yes I've seen your boat on a tour I took thru "yankee stadium" on our boat once. I can say that because I'm a transplant myself. Very nice yacht! Sorry I misunderstood what you were looking for. We like to do dinners just outside Fairfield harbor. If you ever see Labrador stop by and say hey!

Labrador, sorry to disappoint you, but I was born in New Orleans and have been in NC for the last 28 years. But, there are some nice yankees and some who could improve around here, just like us true southern folks. Only problem is too many yankees are discovering that we decided to be born in the best part of the country, and now they want to join us. After sending this I will put my helment on, in preparation for the counter attack.

No reason for the helmet! When i came down here from n.j. I lost all my agression and became a fine southern boy with that laid back attitude. Just wish I had done it ten years before. See y'all out on the river some day and invite ya on for a drink!

i've got an 800 lb. QuickLift and it works great. No probs.
