Poli glow requires that the surface you are treating be absolutely clean. Once applied you have a devil of a time removing it. My experience is that in the sun, living here in the south, the surface can become very warm and if there is dirt in the air or on the surface it canbecome imbedded and then you have a real problem getting it off. My experience is that you can use Penetrol, a reducer, and achieve the same look. It is much cheaper an again as long as the surface is clean it will bring your paint back to a like new condition. Also penetrol is alot easier to apply simply prep the area with acetone and then wipe on or brush on the penetrol and your done. I have a 53 and I did the whole boat and it still looks great over a year later and it took a fraction of the time as applying poli glow. Unlike waxing Penetrol does'nt seem to be as affected by washing, the same can be said for Poli-glow.

Poly glow looks great, for about half a season. I have not tried penetrol but I have heard good things, I would use it over the poly. You can see where my poly has worn off and it makes my old gelcote look splochy.

Rejex works great. Had my hull done this past spring after a little clean up with 3M Finnesse II. Boat washes up nicely and accumulated much less "ICW Mustache" from Baltimore to Massachussetts to South Florida, than it did last year, and what did accumulate came off easily. We spent the summer on a mooring and the boat got used a lot, but seldom had a chance to wash it down. Glad I made the investment.
