Greetings,
Need some recommendations on quick competent mechanical help with a 'new to me' 1989 41c. I have closed on the vessel and made arrangements to have boat moved north however my delivery captain is pushing up the schedule because of weather related delays with another transport he has scheduled.
Looking for basic engine maintenance on a pair of 6v92 and gen-set. Engines performed excellent at sea-trial and with full mechanical survey. My surveyor recommended renewing all consumables before departure. Nothing extraordinary required per the current engine survey. Looking for maintenance on fluids, belts, impellers, filters, zincs etc. Boat will be making a 700 mile run would prefer to have a good second set of eyes on the mechanicals and spares on-board before departure.
Any recommendations / advice will be much appreciated.
