I recently experienced a small issue with my Morse controls. I have the single controls and had a little trouble finding neutral on the starboard control a few times in the past. I thought about taking her out last weekend but couldn't get my stb engine to turn over even after moving the control around in what is the neutral area. I know I have power to the starter button but wasn't sure if there was some adjustment at the transmission I should look into. Any help would be appreciated.

Put the shift lever in the neutral position and go down and look at the transmission lever and see if it's in neutral. There are detents on the lever where a ball bearing falls into a hole on the lever marking the 3 positions. Disconnect the morse cable and move the lever through all three positions. If the cable does not match up adjust the lower end that fits into the lever. I would check both ends of the morse cable to make sure there is no play in the movement and everything is tight. If they line up properly then you probably have a bad switch. A friend of mine smashed into the dock backing up because he couldn't get it out of gear. The shifter end was too loose to work.

Thanks Ron,
I was thinking there might be some adjustment to check at the transmission.
I'll take a look this weekend. Hopefully that's it.
