Who says you can’t inflate your tender with an air compressor? I say you can. This tool I made works absolutely perfect for 2.8 psi tube and 11 psi floor. Variable trigger and 0-15 psi gauge.

That's brilliant. Personally I never liked the hand/foot pump method.

Maybe include a 11 - 15psi safety pop valve.

I used to start with a shop vac and finish with a foot pump, saved some leg work. I didn't know there was a recommended pressure.
