hi-gain antenna

i have a frien who has 2 hi gain 778 x antennas that he wants to give to me. i cant find any info on these antennas, are they for vhf? cb radio? are they a decent antenna ?

scott, no that is not it, this is a fiberglass antenna about 7 feet long. the brand name is hi-gain. i guess i'll pass on them since i dont know what they are for.

I have had some Hi-Gain antennas in the past. No problems that I remember. They made all kinds and frequencies. Can you call them?
