Fuel Pump Onan Generator

Looking For Help Have 1989 74 My Have Onan 20kw Genny Lift Pump Is Leaking Fuel I Called Cummins And Was Told No Longer Avaible Does Any Body Have Any Ideas Where I Can Get A New One Or Rebuild Kit Thanks John

Had the same problem with two 15 KW Onan MDL3s. Both fuel lift pumps leaked all of the time. I finally pulled them and had aluminum covers made with the same bolt pattern and sealed that off. Then purchased 2 electric fuel pumps and mounted them on the left corner of the pan and plumbed them in and wired to 12 volts. So far they have been great. Finally no leaks. It drove me nuts putting cut pieces of drip pads under the old pumps every day. Hope this helps. If you need the brand of the electric pumps let me know. Good Luck..Ross
