Exhaust pipe clearance

Getting ready to gut the master head and refit. How much clearance is safe over the exhaust / muffler. Should I use a heat resistant blanket between the two? Will have fully functioning galley maid toilet and pump (recently rebuilt) for someone who can use it. Same as last time, free to u, just pay shipping. Finished the galley refit. Is their a good way to post the before and after pix without starting a website?

It's wet exhaust at that point so safe. Comfort would be your only concern if there is a surface you would want shielded from the warmth.
