Anybody have a good reference or idea where I could get a high quality overhead electronics box?

Lockable
Able to hook up some type of security
Maybe a way to have fan driven ventilation
Any other features you deem important

I had my last one built by a friend who is a welder. He builds towers and I did a drawing of what I was looking for and he made it. It was basically exactly what you are looking for except on a smaller scale for my center console fishing boat.

Consumers Marine Electrorics has a couple different sizes, apprx.$350. ea.

You can have many plastic suppliers make you a custom plexiglass (acrylic) box. Acrylic comes in many colors as well as clear and black.

I replaced the deck boxes on my '72 43' DCMY (not the originals or would not have replaced them) with boxes from Beachcomber. They are all stainless fasteners, no rivets, and after about 5 years use are standing up well. Also bought cushions for each, and although they are not applicable to the electronics box, I thought their quality of mfg was an additional indication of quality.

At any rate, I thought I saw elec boxes on their site.
