Hatteras Model
54' CONV GT (current)
Guys, have just purchased a 2013 GT54. Will have it here in Sydney in next week or so. Very excited!! Wondering if anyone knows if Hatteras branded crockery, silverware and glassware exists and where you could buy it from. Would appreciate your advice.

This site used to have glassware, cup holders, matts etc. I haven't seen anything for sale other than shirts. No help from me other than that. Sorry.

Trev, you could call Sam's directly, or email them. I would also suggest you try Seaeric on this forum; he might have some suggestions on how to come up with this sort of thing on your own.

Yes, its very sad that the new owners of Hatteras have taken away the apparel and accessories business from Sams/Deep River . It looks like the Sams stuff can't have the Hatteras logo and the Hatteras stuff on the Hatteras site is junk. We can't even get a good burgee anymore. The ones on the Hatt site look like cheap screen printed SeaRay flags with the Hatteras name on them.

Very sad.

I have to agree. I have a lot of Hatteras merchandise from SAMs/Deep River and I'm not impressed with the current offerings. It's too bad the new owners couldn't work out something with the site host here. They always did right by the brand.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Will pursue some local options.

I do not understand the Hatteras position on this at all. Why not let Sam's/Deep River sell anything they want with the original logo to satisfy us vintage owners? Hell, as part of the licensing agreement, require a kickback on all sales. Fund a couple of barbies per year and a ham at xmas for the employees.

Used to be selection of glasses, decks of cards, etc, etc, and shirts blessed with the hatteras name/logo. Obviously there is a market for vintage hatteras stuff-these boats last a long time!

Strange, original and inferior new logo both appear on Sam's homepage, yet Sam's/ Deep River not allowed to use name/logo on stuff for sale.

Are searay execs making the calls for hatteras now?

Gary

You're absolutely correct, there shouldn't be a reason a company would not want to advertise their products. There are a lot more vintage owners than new. If we all asked I'm sure Hatteras would listen. Hopefully.

I didn't realize how lucky I am that my boat came with the original '85 Hatteras burgee. The quality is really impressive; I guess I'll leave it hanging in the saloon where it's been pretty happy for 32 yrs.
