I'm looking to spruce up my interior. Wondering what to use to clean and wipe down all the wood in my interior.. The mojor refit for my interior will be done in a year or two... like i said just looking to get by for now. thanks for any input.

You might try Murphy's Oil for cleaning and a product called Watco from Home Dep. will renew the wood to a nice finish.

I'm redoing a room right now...had some caulking stuck to wall which had been there since 1970....used GOO-OFF and some elbow grease and it came completely clean. Figured this good thread to plug this product!

The admiral and I are fond of "Liquid Gold". We try to do a room or two once a week, with the goal of all the woodwork getting done at least once a month. I used it for years on my last boat and got to the point where I was buying it bulk, non-aeresol once a year from an internet supplier. I showed up to my new boat with about 4-5 cans of the stuff.

The previous owner had left 2-3 cans aboard, so I'd like to think that he was of a similar opinion. Either that or he was trying to get rid of the stuff.....

For wiping down the wood, I agree -- Liquid Gold -- on my prior boat, I used that every other week on all of the interior wood. It would take about a half a day to soak in completely, but the wood on that boat always stayed beautiful - even after 20 years and never having been refinished.

Last couple of times my wife used lemon oil. Sure made to wood look good and the boat smelt great. Proably will continue to use the lemon oil.
