Chart DVD tested in Power Boat & Motor Yacht Mag?

A few months back, they did a review of a DVD that had all of the USA charts on it, as well as trial versions of some of the most popular mapping programs and one full version of a free-ware mapping program. The cost was UNDER $100. Damn if I didn't throw it away accidently. Anyone here remember that test...if so, know the name of the product?

Nice...but you'd need internet access while under way? Really wish I hadnt thrown away that review. It was inexpensive (around $80 IIRC) and came with all of the "free" charts on one DVD plus a bunch of trial programs that can read them plus one full verion free-ware...got good reviews from Poer & Motor Yacht...but damn if I can remember the name.

Several Folks on Ebay sell chart software with maps.
I purchased one for under $20 with reportedly all US charts. I only downloaded those for the Gulf. The charts look fine but the software features are very limited, such as no way to measure and not as easy to use as Captn for instance, which I had but lost to a computer crash. I never got around to connecting the computer to a gps to check the plotting feature, thanks to my new boat's PO, I have 2 very nice garmin plotters aboard.

Found it...its called "managing the waterways". Its a two-DVD set containing all NOAA raster (RNC) and vector (ENC) charts and all U.S. Army Corps of Engineers inland waterways & rivers vector (IENC) charts. And its far LESS expensive than I had said...its about $35.
