Boat is heading to fort Myers beach and I got some miscellaneous work to be done. Cable master has no power and have 2 small windows to replace. I have the Windows. Onan genny has an exhaust elbow that needs replacing. I have been told the part is no longer stocked by onan. I am sure after a week of running the list will grow. Am open minded to a yard handling this as well. Do any of you have recommendations? Thanks for your time.

Rob Brylinski did work for me in 2015 and was good and fair. Exhaust elbow on gen. was one of the ones he did for me, btw. He is at (239)910-6278. Robert

It sounds like you have some good suggestions, but if you decide it is going to be more involved, our Hatt is having a minor refit done at Owl Creek Boat Works just upriver from you. So far, we are very, very impressed with the progress (about 3 weeks into a 2 month gig). Sea Joy is getting balsa core repaired on FB and main decks, new aft decking, new windows in PH and aft deck, new swim platform, new dinghy davit system, complete galley refit and replacing all granite (~1000 lbs or so) with "lightweight" system (quartz bonded to aluminum honeycomb backing).

Butch Fulton has owned the yard for 47 years, and Cliff, the yard manager has been their 26 years. They guys doing the work are all VERY experienced, knowledgeable and conscientious. One of the guys removing a PH window told me he had worked there for 35 years and had done about a dozen classic Hatt refits.

BTW, I found out about them by another member's recommendation on HOF.

Good luck...

I agree on owl creek. I have used them before and was very satisfied. I may end up there after the winter. Was hoping to get some things fixed while boat is staying in fort Myers beach. Thanks for the suggestion.
