Beachcomber box

This is the beachcomber deck box I purchased from them a year ago but was delivered as a dock box because they no longer make the deck box in this size. It has been modified with Sagatsune handles on both sides and triangular teak feet on the four corners. Made a shelf for inside but it turned out to be less than useless. I’ve used sagatsune hardware in multiple places on the boat, interior and exterior. Exceptionally high quality in 316SS. A nautical look to boot. This box sits bolted on the dock when not going on trips, it’s the replacement for the original equipment bow deck boxes which I removed and will do something with someday. Lower helms are the best. It was a requirement during my "longest Hatteras search ever". Lots of folks said I was foolish.

But you know how I know I'm right? Look at all the boats 2010 that began adding lower helms again! The 1970s-2000s didn't have lower helms.
