900MA Bowls for Racor

Got my new bowls in for the racor filters. They came with a round rubber gasket and also a paper type gasket. Am I right to assume that it just gives you a choice of which one to use. Would think the rubber one would be better. Getting ready to install so I need to know.

Any of the Racor rebuild kits that I have used have come with extra parts. Over the years they have changed the design of their filters and some take different parts. Use whatever parts look like the ones that you take out.

I meant to explain myself better. The ones I was talking about are for the drain plug. The old drain plugs are metal and appears to have a fiber type flat gasket, similar to the green flat ones that came with the plastic drain plug. It only came with one large gasket for the bowl itself.

That is what I was talking about. They made several drain plugs over the years and they include the seals for all of them in the kit. Use the ones that match what you have.
