I'm in Ft lauderdale and have lived aboard a 1988 67 CMY for 6 years - near identical boat and I know every nook and cranny (this boat has alot). I'm happy to walk through with anyone if they look at it for perspective. I remember seeing this boat moored in Ft Laud - from memory on the north fork of the new river but I don't remember seeing the damage.

This boat was on craigslist in Ft Lauderdale for $80K then turned up on YW with a broker for $105K ask.

That's not a "small" galley fire. The broker is obviously smoking something also at that price IMHO. The entire galley will have to be reworked and may be impossible to insure after that.

I have the exact same 67'. Should find out how fire started, if the boat was insured, quotes for repair from repair yard, (and get a quote from your choice of repair yard), why it was not repaired by owner/insurance company estimate and payment to owner, copy of any hull and mechanical surveys. I would believe this boat could be repaired and back in service with a reasonable cost : it should be a great buy at $80K.

The ebay listing closed with no bids/buyers. I believe it's still docked in LaBelle, right up the road from me. If I can I'll try to run up there and see if it's still there.
