  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
58' TRIPLE CABIN (1970 - 1976)
Check out the custom tee shirt Deep River Traders/Line Drive Graphics is doing for me. I'll be stylin' at YankeeFest this year.

I've had them do some custom shirts for me before, and they always do great work at very reasonable prices. All they need is a high resolution digital photo. Contact ksmith@linedrivegraphics.com Yes, these are the folks who do the Hatteras apparel through this site, so this is not spamming.

Can they photoshop you some smoke at the starboard side of the transom ?

That will be a cool shirt! What a great picture of a very pretty boat, the 58 TC sure has great lines.

Thanks Tom. I've said it before, but I think the 58TC is the prettiest boat Hatteras ever built. I could think of a few things to do differently with the interior layout (and hopefully will someday), but those lines are absolutely classic and will never go out of style.

I'll have to remember to scan a line drawing I did as a kid of my dream boat. As best I recall, I was about 12 or 13 when I drew it, and it looks very much like my 58. As they say, dreams can come true, but unfortunately so can nightmares. Damn oil line! :(

Hatteras guys are such comedians! I'm still chuckling about the starboard engine smoke. Too FUNNY!

If we can get a good group pic (the people) at the NE Rendezvous, maybe we can get shirts made up for next year!

I tend to agree that the 58 TC was (and is) one of the best looking Hatts ever.

It is a great picture of the boat....

I love how they were able to airbrush out the tow line from his bow to the Towboat/US thats pulling him..

Don't make me break out my smiley finger again. :)

That photo was actually taken last year when a group of forumly challenged boaters got together and made a run up to the Chattanooga waterfront from Hales Bar marina. Until then, I never had any photos of the 58 at cruise... on one engine or otherwise.

Maybe I'll get a shot of the 41 running as my brother is bringing his boat up from Florida for the July 4th festivities. I'd bet there won't be any smoke or TowBoat jokes with that shot. Here's one that proves I can do more than hull speed in a Hatt, and my 41 doesn't smoke. Unless of course you count smoking diesel powered 41's.

Cool Chris said she likes the picture and I wear a XL and Chris wears L!

Cool shirt! Aren't you bringing the 41 to Yankeefest? You might want to get a 41' Nancy Cay shirt as well! :)

Actually, "somebody" on here made an offer to purchase my 58 based on my bringing it to YankeeFest. Hmmm, what was his name again?

They'll be on sale in the lobby after the rendezvous. Autographed shirts are extra of course.

THAT'S IT!!! You are supposed to deliver the 58. I think it was Jim (Passages) that made the offer.

What happened, no deposit show up in your account yet??

Nope, no deposit. I'm beginning to think he's not serious. :)

Speaking of taking boats to a HOF rendezvous, this showing up boatless is getting rather embarrassing. Maybe if there is another Gulf coast rendezvous this fall, I'll bring down the 41. It would be a hoot making that trip at 20MPH with two engines. Maybe I can talk Beachcomber and a few other riverboaters into making the trip as well, even if that means slowing down a bit for them.

Yep, MPH = Miles Per Hour. :D

River miles are statute miles, not nautical miles. It makes no sense to set things up to display knots.
