Description by Capten
On the second day of the White Marlin Open 2005, a small center console (I believe a fairly new 25' Baja) flipped over about 15 miles offshore while running in. When the boat flipped, conditions were much rougher than in this photo. Apparently it was operator negligence as they where "jumping" waves on the ride home. The crew was picked up by another tournament boat within about an hour. There were injuries but non life threatening.
We took this photo the following afternoon on the way in from fishing after spoting it in the distance. The hull was now over 40 miles offshore. The authorities had not marked or put a light on the hull creating quite a hazard....especially at night!
